Sep 08, 2004· Last Monday, something disconcerting began happening with this Jetta''s brakes. I wasn''t driving the car, but was in the front passenger seat, and could hear the noise. On two occasions, when coming to a stop, a loud grinding feeling was felt through the pedal.

Apr 21, 2011· A few weeks ago I pulled into my driveway and a d grinding noise came from what I believe was the brakes. I also started to notice it more when I am backing up slowly and put my foot on the brake. I don''t hear it at normal driving speeds.
